Jaqueline Vanek

This image is from Vanek's series entitled My Sweet Hell. This image is my favorite of those, largely for the emotion and the passion depicted here. The use of the light and shadows with the basic background and subject is handled very well. These images are all very surreal, this one is more subtly so, with the arm creeping out from behind the subject.
